Research Summary
I am in the penultimate year of my PhD, in the Quantitative Imaging Group (QIG) within the Centre for Medical Image Computing (CMIC) at UCL, supervised by Professor Geoff Parker, Professor Jamie McClelland and Dr Joe Jacob.
My research aims to accelerate the use of MRI imaging for studying lung function, utilising pure oxygen as a contrast agent in a technique known as ‘oxygen-enhanced MRI’ (OE-MRI). My work involves the development of a novel MRI acquisition and analysis method to improve the accuracy of the functional information extracted from MRI scans.
I have an interest in public and patient engagement and enjoy science communication. I am currently a UCL Healthcare Engineering Impact Fellow.
