Sarah is a CAPE (Capabilities in Academic Policy Engagement) Fellow at the Greater London Authority, working within the City Intelligence Unit. Her role is to mobilise academic knowledge in London, and beyond. 

Sarah is also a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Applied Health Research (UCL) and the Care Policy and Evaluation Centre (LSE). Through her role she supports CPEC’s partnership in the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration North Thames, and is a member of the ARC-NT’s Research Partnership Team.

Research Themes
Research Summary
Sarah Jasim is a senior mixed methods researcher within the Department of Applied Health Research at UCL. Her research interests are complex evaluations in mental health, social care and health services.
Teaching Summary

Sarah's teaching experience spansquantitative (applied statistics), qualitative and evaluation methods toundergraduate, postgraduate, and social and health care professionals. She wasawarded the Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in 2018. Sarahhas led training on behalf of NIHR ARC-NT for health and social carepractitioners, managers and commissioners on approaches to evaluation inpractice. Sarah regularly contributes to lecturing in research methods,software packages, and evaluation at UCL, KCL and QMUL. Sarah is currently thecourse convenor for three London Interdisciplinary Social Science DoctoralTraining Partnership research methods courses for doctoral students from KCL,QMUL and Imperial College London. Sarah is also a tertiary PhD supervisor atUCL (health and social care economics) and an MSc co-supervisor to two students(health and social care), and has taught quality improvement concepts forprogrammes in the USA (Institute of Healthcare Improvement).
