Stephen joined UCL in June 2014 as a Lecturer. He is currently an Associate Professor in Quantitative Social Science based in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health and is a member of the UCL Q-Step Centre, a Nuffield Foundation collaborative investment to promote a step-change in undergraduate quantitative social science training. Stephen has previously held positions at the Institute of Education and the University of Manchester. He completed his PhD in Social Statistics at the Cathie Marsh Centre for Census and Survey Research, University of Manchester in 2011.

I teach on the following modules as part the BSc in Population Health: Introduction to Quantitative Research Methods, Data Analysis, Measuring Health and Health Demography. I co-supervise PhD students in the department and would be interested in supervising new students on topics related to my research interests.
