Biography
Sarah-Naomi James is a research fellow based at the MRC Unit for Lifelong Health and Ageing at UCL. After a BSc in Neuroscience at the University of Bristol, she undertook an MSc and PhD in the MRC Social, Genetic and Developmental Psychiatry Centre at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London. Sarah is currently working as an epidemiologist on the MRC National Survey of Health and Development Neuroimaging sub-study (Insight 46), in collaboration with colleagues at the Dementia Research Centre. Her research investigates life course predictors of cognitive ageing and neuroscience-related outcomes.

Teaching Summary
At UCL, Sarah contributes to teaching across the MSc and BSc Population Health, MSc Health and Society: Social Epidemiology, MSc Cardiovascular Science courses and MSc Dementia.
Sarah is currently supervising PhD and MSc research projects, and is open to further supervisions.
