Biography
Sophie Khadr is a Paediatric SpR and a Clinical Lecturer in Adolescent Health. She also works as a forensic medical examiner at one of London's three sexual assault referral centres (SARCs), the Havens.

Research Summary
Sophie's research interests include adolescent sexual behaviour, sexual development and safeguarding. She was awarded a Department of Health Policy Research Programme grant in 2012 to undertake a prospective longitudinal study of follow-up and outcomes after adolescent sexual assault. Other current projects include: 1) joint BPSU-CAPSS surveillance study of gender identity disorder in UK & Irish children and adolescents; 2) National Survey of Sexual Attitudes & Lifestyles (NATSAL)-affiliated study of the relationship between sexual behaviour and drug and alcohol use in young people.
