She has experience across public and private healthcare systems approaching twenty years, initially understanding, and improving acute malnutrition within disease pathways, working clinically at several acute hospital trusts, and then applying her clinical grounding to new technologies by offering a clinical perspective to the design, and rapid prototyping of solutions, consulting on venture incubators and accelerator programmes. In addition to bringing a progressive clinical team perspective to Future Healthcare Journal, she is Editor-in-Chief of Royal College of Physician's Medical Care. 

Research Summary

Sheena is researching the adoption of emerging technologies at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children's DRIVE Innovation centre, University College London Interaction Centre (UCLIC). Her research is conducted with inspiration and supervision from Prof Yvonne Rogers and Prof Neil Sebire, with funding from Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children Charities. She is also clinical lead for UCL MotionInput, leading on healthcare applications of Touchless Computing.
