Tashweka's interests and expertise focus on the human and social dimensions of energy and water use, consumer impacts and behaviour change. Her work has primarily focussed on user engagement in homes, workplaces and communities. In addition to her role as Senior Research Officer at the UCL Energy Institute, Tashweka is the Managing Director of Anderson Brown Ltd, a London-based management consultancy with expertise in sustainability solutions, with a particular focus on consumer impacts and behavior change (www.anderson-brown.com). Prior to starting Anderson Brown Ltd, Tashweka held business and programme management roles at Fujitsu Services, Computacenter, The Climate Group, and British Gas (Centrica). Through her consultancy, Tashweka is a lead partner in an EU funded project technology and innovation project on water and energy consumption in social housing, where she is responsible for the user experience work package.

Research Summary

Tashweka's research at the UCL Energy Institute has focused on the consumer impacts of the UK smart meter roll-out and customer segmentation for current and future energy systems.
