Ms Tishya Venkatraman
Ms Tishya Venkatraman profile picture

Tishya works as a post-doctoral research fellow in Epidemiology and Modelling on the UK-China Health and Social Care Ageing Project comparing present and future occurrence of dementia and policy responses in each country. 

Tishya obtained a Masters of Public Health from the University of Edinburgh with a focus on epidemiology and statistical methods where she worked on breast cancer survival in patients with multi-morbidies under Professor Sarah Wild. In 2018 she was awarded the National Institute of Health Research, School for Public Health Research (NIHR SPHR) Studentship and completed her PhD in 2021 at Imperial College London. You can read more about her doctoral work via NIHR SPHR, where she worked under the supervision of Professor Sonia Saxena and Dr Ceire Costelloe (Imperial College London), Dr Esther van Sluijs (University of Cambridge) and Professor Russell Viner (University College London).
