Research Summary

I am the head of the Deafness and Neural Plasticity Lab. Using neuroimaging, pharmacological and behavioural techniques, my main research interest is neural plasticity, aiming to understand the capabilities and constraints of the human brain. My research focuses on deafness, because of the possibility to study neural plasticity in cognitive and sensory systems, and the strong potential for societal impact.
