Development and application of genome editing and gene based therapies.
- Application of T lymphocytes for cellular immunotherapy, including CAR T cells.
- Translational immunotherapies, from bench to bedside and first-in-human trials
- Clinical trials for 'of the shelf' genome edited T cells
- Diagnosing and treating immune disorders by haematopoietic stem cell transplantation and gene based therapies.
- Studies of T cell responses to viruses for anti-viral cell therapies
- Investigating genome editing by CRISPR/Cas9 and base editors to correct inherited diseases.
- Universal cells: genome editing to overcome HLA barriers for regenerative medicine (Human pluripotent stem cells).
- Clinical gene therapy for skin disorders such as Netherton's syndrome and Epidermolysis Bullosa.
