Yu Wu (CEng, MIET, MIEEE) received the B.Eng. degree in electronic and electrical engineering from University College London (UCL), London, U.K., in 2012, the M.Sc. degree in analog and digital integrated circuit design from Imperial College London, UK., in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in electronic and electrical engineering from UCL, in 2019.
He has a total of 23 publications, including 13 journal papers (7 as the first author). He has given over 10 presentations at flagship international conferences and was the session-chair for the IEEE ISCAS 2020 conference. He is currently a guest associate editor for Frontiers in Electronics. As an awardee of the 9th UK DRA, he is also a committee member for the 10th UK DRA competition.




His research interests include CMOS microelectronics, biomedical circuits and systems, and brain & human-machine interfaces. He has led the research of novel EIT lung monitoring and implantable devices in two multi-million funded EU H2020 projects (CRADL and NeuHeart). He is the PI of an EPSRC eFutures sandpit project for prosthetic control, collaborating with the University of Cambridge.
