Biography
I joined Dr. Frances Wiseman’s group at UK Dementia Research Institute, UCL as a research fellow in March 2020. I am studying Down Syndrome and Alzheimer’s Disease-related endo-lysosomal pathways and cathepsin deficits. Prior to this, between 2016 and 2020, I was a postdoctoral training fellow in the laboratory of Professor Roger Cox at MRC Harwell Institute. My research project was investigating the mechanistic role of ADP-ribosylation factor like protein 15 (ARL15) in adipogenesis. Before this, between 2012 and 2016, I undertook my DPhil in the laboratory of Prof. Dame Kay Davies and Prof. Peter Oliver at the University of Oxford, where I studied the role of an antioxidative protein (Oxr1) in mitochondria.
