Yuerong Zhang is a Lecturer in Geospatial Machine Learning at the Energy Institute, School of Environment, Energy and Resources, Bartlett College. Prior to this she was a Leverhulme Early Career Researcher at the Bartlett School of Planning and a Transport Modelling and Policy Researcher at UCL's MaaSLab. She completed her PhD at the Bartlett School of Planning and UCL's Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA).




I have a range of research interests that fall broadly under the umbrella of transport geography, urban analytics and energy. Specifically, I am working on the following research themes.
-Modelling the resilience of public transport networks
-New transport technologies and services (electric vehicles, EV charging, MaaS, drones, etc.)
-Spatial-temporal accessibility
-Geospatial, machine learning and text mining techniques
-Transport and energy
Recently, I have been working on the accessibility of EV chargers and the resilience of railways to extreme weather events.
