This research focuses on using operational research techniques and analytical mathematics to evaluate the childhood vaccination in the UK. Primarely we explore how changes in the timing of childhood vaccination can affect both the vaccinating uptake and the overall effectiveness of the immunisation programme. In addition changes to the current vaccinating schedule, such as introduction of new vaccines, can also be explored.
