Global Learning Programme (GLP) in England
The Global Learning Programme in England was a six year programme running between 2013 and 2018, managed by Pearson Education, with UCL Institute of Education leading on research and evaluation and CPD. The GLP created a network of schools, committed to equipping their pupils to make a positive contribution to a globalised world by helping teachers to deliver effective teaching and learning about development and global issues at Key Stage 2 and 3. Clare Bentall led on the Continuing Professional Development strand of the GLP. Fran Hunt led the research and evaluation strand of the GLP.
