In the framework of this project we endeavour to research the principles and the motivations behind southern-led humanitarian responses to displacement from Syria in Lebanon, Jordan, and Turkey. Humanitarian efforts coming from countries classified as "global South" are in fact kept at the margins of official humanitarian programming. The project challenges the northern moral and political orthodoxies of humanitarianism to unearth marginalised experiences of aid provision and solidarity to refugees from Syria.
