Applying space syntax methods to historical data: mapping popular political meetings in 19th century British cities
A comprehensive analysis of the relationship between political meeting sites and the changing urban environment in Manchester and Sheffield, c1790-1850 that will produce a model and workflow that can be applied to other cities in different periods, forming basis for an external funding application to broadly examine the relationship between cities and protest.
