Leveraging Heritage for Just Infrastructural Urbanism in Myanmar
This project offers a unique opportunity to bring together critical heritage and international urban development perspectives by sharing experiences from practitioners and scholars in an innovative dialogue about heritage, infrastructure and spatial justice, with particular focus on the city of Yangon. It consists of a one-day workshop to be held in London convening DPU partners from Yangon (YHT, WfW, DPU), Clare Melhuish (UCL Urban Lab) and other colleagues at DPU and UCL. This project contributes to the UCL CCHS research cluster on ‘Curating the city - transdisciplinary approaches in urban settings’ and is funded by CCHS Small grants.
