MORE (Multi-modal Optimisation of Road Space in Europe)
MORE provides a comprehensive and objective approach to the planning, design, management, and operation of road space on major urban corridors feeding the Trans-European Transport Networks (TEN-T). The objective is to develop new concepts, tools, and processes to optimise roadspace in cases where expanding or building new urban roads is not an option. This will take into account the multi-modal functioning of the corridors and their links with major intermodal interchanges, as well as other policy requirements, thereby enabling city authorities to optimally allocate the limited available capacity in space and time. The project is being developed and tested in five European cities: London, Lisbon, Budapest, Malmo, and Constanta, by 18 partners representing 10 different European countries.
