STEPS-Havana: Street Environment for People, Sustainability and Health in Havana
This project will deliver a city-wide analysis of the street network in Havana, Cuba, considering active travel as a central structural axis of mobility and highlighting the implications of such an approach for urban planning at different scales. This new analytical perspective will highlight the role of streets as public spaces that comprise key elements of the social fabric and the physical, cultural and historical heritage of the city. The project is funded by the UCL Global Challenges Research Fund
