Cocaine trafficking in Colombia: an improved examination of organised activity using crime script and social network analysis
Supervision of PhD research: To provide an updated analysis of transnational drug trafficking in Colombia using the concepts of social network theory in tandem with crime script analysis. Using the insights delivered with the first goal, discuss how the idea of disruption can change the "beheading strategy", which has become an established strategy within the National Police to counteract drug trafficking organisations
