Associate crimes to drug-trade dynamics in Colombia: a crime script and crime harm approach
Supervision of MRes and Phd research: Main research goal: Identify which crimes are related to drug dynamics in Colombia, how they relate to each phase (cultivation, distirbution, sales, etc.) and assess the potential harm that these pose in each phase. The research will use Crime Script Analysis to link cocaine-related crimes to each stage of the Colombian local dynamics from cultivation till sales. For each stage, crime will be assessed using a Crime Harm Index. Crime Script Analysis will also be used as a framework to identify data requirements for future analysis. It is an exploratory research that will provide a guide for decision makers to prioritise and focus crime prevention resources according to the potential of harm
