The aim of this pilot project was to enable our Nigerian partners increase capabilities and build capacity in genetic research that would provide data for use in healthcare delivery. Whist building in research activities our partners had to conduct, the project was structured to allow the generation of data for analysis. New and interesting results have been obtained which are being drafted for a short scientific publication.
