Neuromorphic engineering
The ever-increasing demand for more intelligent and power-efficient machines means that the field of neuromorphic engineering - the building of circuits and systems that operate more like the brain does and less like a conventional digital computer - is growing rapidly.
This project will result in a book on the basic concepts involved in neuromorphic engineering, the evolution of and potential potential for these ideas, and the state-of-the-art in the field.
