Professor P Coveney has been awarded a grant for the EU FP7 INBIOMEDvision project. INBIOMEDvision aims to become a European-wide initiative intended to monitor the evolution of the Biomedical Informatics field and address its scientific challenges by means of collaborative efforts performed by a broad group of experts with complementary perspectives on the field. These efforts will certainly contribute to the strength and expansion of the Biomedical Informatics scientific community, particularly in Europe. The grant is for €1.2M and will last for 2 years. The coordinator is Prof Ferran Sanz at University Pompeu Fabra (UPF), Barcelona, Spain.
