ARTSMH - UCL ChangeMaker Continuation Fund
Using the ChangeMaker funding, I will work closely with the original 4 students and new committee members (Year 2/3 students and alumni Weiyi Xie, Aiko Leung, Trista Wu, Angus Chung, Henry Wang), to create a structured blueprint on how to capture the impact of creative activities and engagements on mental health. In particular, I hope to create a series of shareable artistic content (infographics, short film, virtual exhibition) to showcase ARTSMH’s impact on participants’ mental health, sense of belongness, and loneliness. The students already have a strategic plan and I’ll be supervising/guiding them on the process.
- All project findings will inform the strategic planning of the UCL Mental Wellbeing Team and the Provost’s Office on ways to enhance student belonging and sense of UCL identity.
- Funding will go towards the event running costs, student leaders organising the event, exhibition prizes, and student consultants who feedback on the events.
