Fairness of jury decision-making
First empirical study of the fairness of jury decision-making in England and Wales, examining racial discrimination, consistency of verdicts, comprehension of judicial instructions, and juror exposure to media coverage of trials. Funded by the UK Ministry of Justice. Resulted in report "Are Juries Fair?"
