I am engaged on a number of research strands which cumulatively are building up into a major research project that aims to provide a more complex and deeper reading of the links between architecture and globalisation. This group of projects include several 'live' design projects in Palestine, a major forthcoming edited book on the architecture and urbanism of the Persian Gulf region, various analyses of architecture and urban forms in Asian cities, as well as in tutoring a broad spectrum of PhD students on topics across the world.
