Our work is based on the combination of the Boltzman-LotkaVolterra (BLV) Models and Urban Evolutionary Models (UEM) fashioned around the Turing-Krugman trade model. The extension of the two models aims to specifically incorporate energy costs in the transportation cost functions associated with spatial interactions. The model is dynamic and will also reflect constraints on energy at locations, as reflected in the entropy statistics used to generate such models. The model in a first phase will be loosely dimensioned to Greater London data, and the visualisation of possible locational forms with respect to size of centres and zones will be elaborated through building demonstration cases. We will show full scale empirical applications of the model in order to verify the impact of investment on urban areas and show how investment impacts on urban morphology. We will simulate the ideal types of city form with respect to energy consumption and provision.
