A critical review of how urban poverty is defined and measured
Working with Diana Mitlin (University of Manchester and IIED) to critically review how urban poverty is defined and measured in low- and middle-income nations. This work shows how urban poverty is considerably under-counted because of the inappropriate methodologies and assumptions that go into setting poverty lines.
