The main outputs from the project will be a report to DfT summarising the evidence base summarising an overview of the benefits of walking and cycling and the factors that determine walking and cycling and the factors known to work in facilitating walking and cycling, plus a shorter paper based on this for publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
