The East India Company at Home 1757 - 1857
The East India Company at Home, 1757-1857 is a 3-year research project funded by the Leverhulme Trust, which examines the British country house in an imperial and global context. The project works in collaboration with family and local historians, curators, academics and other researchers to illuminate Britain's global material culture from the 18th century to the present. Professor Margot Finn is the Principal Investigator of the project
