Ibrahim El Salahi and Khalid Iqbal studied at the Slade during the 1950s and subsequently became pioneers in the development of art and art education in Sudan and Pakistan. This project will explore their study at the Slade, and the influence of academics including Professor William Coldstream on their work, through research, digitization and publication of archive material, and the solicitation of new information and accounts.
