A priceless commodity: water, commodification and resistance in Cameroon 1916-2000
An ESRC funded study of the long history of water engineering and commodification in Cameroon. The study draws particular attention to questions of political resistance and privatization. It led to a series of publications in the Transactions of the Institute of British Geographers, African Affairs and Geoforum.
