FLIPR Tetra Assay Development
The FLIPR Tetra is a high-throughput calcium imaging device used in drug discovery programmes. A number of different LED/filter combinations are available for the machine and these have allowed the development of a wide range of cell-based assays, including membrane potential, cation transport and assays of protein-protein interaction such as Bimolecular Fluorescence Complementation. Researchers interested in the use of the FLIPR Tetra for novel fluorescence-based cellular assays are invited to contact me, as I am the academic contact for this device on the UCL Research Equipment database (see URL below).
