Computational Studies of Transient Receptor Channels
TRP channels have been identified in several physiological and pathological processes. More recently a connection between TRP channels and cancer has been established. Our interests lie in studying the conformational dynamics of the channel in the presence of natural ligands, which would help in greater understanding of the functioning of these channels. This information can be used to design small molecules that would interfere with this process and thereby modulating the activity of the channel.
