Centre for Resource Efficiency & the Environment (CREE)
The Centre for Resource Efficiency & the Environment aims to “engineer a world without waste”. We use practical investigations, data analysis and modelling to develop an improved understanding of flows of valuable resources, such as materials, water, and energy, and associated environmental impacts. We then use this understanding to develop appropriate technologies to conserve and recover resources. For example, we have projects in supply and purification of water, recovering resources from household and industrial wastes, and low energy ventilation of buildings.
