CRUCIBLE is an initiative that brings together research groups from across UCL to meet this challenge by creating, supporting and delivering innovative research. This research will be truly interdisciplinary ensuring that problems associated with lifelong health and wellbeing are investigated in their totality. It is backed by 5 years of funding worth over £3 million, ensuring that leading UCL scientists and academics have both the time and resources to reach across discipline boundaries and engage in research that leads humanity to a better place. Currently CRUCIBLE is supporting a number of research projects and research studentships, all of which are multidisciplinary, and generates a wealth of ideas and challenges to stimulate the research community to look at the word in a different way.
