Primary Care E-Health Unit
The e-Health Unit is part of the Research Department of Primary Care and Population Health at UCL,
and was initially established in 2003 by Dr Elizabeth Murray (Unit Director).
The unit’s research programme employs a broad range of research methods to develop
and evaluate applications of new information and communication technologies, such as the Internet and video-conferencing,
to help people take better care of their health. Since its inception, the unit has been successful in attracting substantial research
grant funding from a variety of sources. It has grown rapidly and is set to continue to expand.
