Centre for Editing Lives and Letters (CELL)
CELL develops archive-based research projects of relevance to the period 1500 - 1800. Established as a Research Centre in July 2002 with funding from the AHRC, CELL is now independently established internationally as part of the academic landscape, pioneering projects foregrounding Renaissance Studies in the digital age. CELL's research agenda supports projects that pilot innovative methodologies and practices aimed at making archives matter, and that engage energetically with the wider community.
