We are a multidisciplinary group with particular interests in visual health, eye disease & visual impairment in childhood and in the early life origins of and life course influences on visual health and chronic complex eye disease in adult life. Our methods expertise includes classical, life course and genetic epidemiology, biostatistics as applied to ophthalmology, health psychology and health services and policy-related research. Through our research we aim to enhance understanding of these disorders in order to improve their prevention, diagnosis and treatment, and to inform policy decisions nationally and internationally.
