The aim of our research is to understand how and why emotional problems like depression develop in young people. A major focus of this research is on individual differences in processing emotional information. We also explore the interplay between genetic and environmental factors on children and young people’s emotions and behaviours. Our ongoing projects at UCL are funded by The Medical Research Council and The British Academy.
