Abstract
We propose the use of a socio-technical method for thermal comfort research, namely 'contextual thermography', to explore a richer understanding of what is inherently an interdisciplinary field. Contextual thermography brings together temperature readings of people and objects in their surroundings as well as providing a useful method for observation of participant behaviour, practices and routines. Here, we present preliminary findings and the initial development of analysis of such data.
