Abstract
The exhibition explores the history of the Casa Sperimentale by the Italien architects Giuseppe Perugini, Uga de Plaisant and Raynaldo Perugini.
Now largely forgotten this experimental treehouse located in Fregene, just outside Rome has been designed and built over a period of 7 years fro m1968 onwards. It has been used as a testbed for design ideas of the APOA, the Organisation of Organic Architecture by Perugini and Bruno Zevi and to test novel construction ideas.
