The spatial spatial complexities of informal urbanism
The spatial spatial complexities of informal urbanism in an investigation around both discursive and design related challenges where voices, languages and political representations are emerging as claim to centrality, solidarity and equity. Questioning the different legitimizations of the informal urbanism discourses and the emergence of urban subjectivities, this study is engaging with collective strategies, a critique of the social turn of design and architecture and the architectural and design agency when dealing with informality and the ethic of a “just” urban future. The research is spanning across several geographies: Mumbai, Medellin, Bangkok, Rome, Phnom Penh, Santiago de Chile;
