AD in the garden: A participatory project to build a micro anaerobic digester in an East London community garden
This project demonstrates the potential for urban community energy projects. It is a public engagement project run in partnership with public works, an arts and architecture group and Leap AD, a not-for-profit company using micro-AD to create urban circular economy projects in London. The project will co-design and build an anaerobic digester in partnership with local volunteers in a community garden in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, as a way of engaging city residents with the idea of community energy.
