The project analyses the main barriers (political, integration and public acceptance) to plan and implement a long-term strategy for use of different resources so that to achieve environmental commitments, as well as energy security. The project attempts to draw out the technical and policy challenges of achieving stable energy networks in the future, in light of a different and varied composition of energy resources meeting demand in a low-carbon world.
