UKTM energy system model development
The UK TIMES energy system model (UKTM) has replaced the UK MARKAL model, which underpinned UK climate policy for 10 years. It has been used by the UK Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy to provide underpinning evidence for their Fifth Carbon Budget impact assessment and their Clean Growth Strategy.
