Dr Anne McMunn currently leads a European Research Council funded project investigating changing work-family life courses and their relationships with health and wellbeing in the 1946, 1958 and 1970 British birth cohort studies, as well as the potential impact on children's development of changing gender divisions of labour in the Millennium Cohort Study. Dr McMunn leads research on work and health within the ESRC International Centre for Lifecourse Studies in Society and Health (ICLS) and continues her work on the social determinants of healthy ageing in the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing (ELSA).
Dr. McMunn is one of the Graduate Tutors for the Department of Epidemiology & Public Health as well as Graduate Tutor for the Institute of Epidemiology & Health Care. She is currently supervising ten PhD students within the department and teaches on the MSc in Society & Health and the BSc in Population Health.
