Biography

Brynmor Lloyd-Evans has worked at UCL on studies managed by UCL and Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust since 2005. He is a registered social worker and has worked in Community Mental Health Teams and forensic rehabilitation services in London.

Research Summary

Brynmor Lloyd-Evans is a Lecturer in Mental Health and Social Care in the Division of Psychiatry at UCL. His research interests include: acute care alternatives to hospital admission; process measurement in mental health services research; early intervention in psychosis; and social outcomes for people with severe and enduring mental illness. Bryn currently manages the CORE Study, an NIHR programme grant (CI Sonia Johnson), which is evaluating a resource pack to promote quality improvement in Crisis Resolution Teams and a peer-delivered, self-management programme for people leaving acute home treatment services. He is a co-applicant on Martin Orrell's Aqueduct programme grant on dementia crisis care.

Teaching Summary
Brynmor Lloyd-Evans is currently a secondary supervisor to two PhD students in the Division of Psychiatry at UCL and teaches on the UCL MSc course in Psychiatric Research Methods.
